HLB GROSS COLLINS, P.C. ADDS NINE NEW TEAM MEMBERS
Atlanta, January 30, 2008 - HLB Gross Collins, P.C., a leading Atlanta-based full-service certified public accounting and consulting firm, has added Kristin Gill, Beth Giannakakis, Eric D. Fleming, Vadim Kovynev, Jay Thomas, Natalie Melton, Michael B. Shelton, Jennifer Adams, and Becky Wilson to its firm.
Kristen Gill, who will serve as an accountant, previously held internships at HLB Gross Collins and Maureen E. Buhr, CPA, in Athens, Ga. Gill holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Georgia.
Beth Giannakakis, named accountant, most recently held a medical billing position at the Family Medicine of Gwinnett in Lilburn, Ga. She holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting and was an honor graduate from Kennesaw State University. She is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
Eric Fleming, named accountant, previously worked for two years at Estes Express Lines in Kennesaw, Ga., and also served in the United States Marine Corps. Fleming holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Kennesaw State University.
Vadim Kovynev, previously a production manager at Creative Awards and Promotions in Woodstock, GA, will serve on the firm’s audit team. He will graduate in December 2008 with a bachelor of accounting and bachelor of finance degree from Kennesaw State University.
Jay Thomas brings more than six years experience in the financial services industry to HLB Gross Collins and will assume the role of accountant. He was previously an associate relationship manager at Regions Bank. Thomas will graduate in May 2008 from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor of business administration. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Fraternity.
Natalie Melton, who joined the firm as an accountant, is pursuing an accounting degree from Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the National Honors Society.
Michael B. Shelton, Jennifer Adams, and Becky Wilson have also been added as interns. Shelton holds a bachelor of science in accounting and finance from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. Adams holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Kennesaw State University. Wilson will graduate in May 2008 with a bachelor in accounting from Kennesaw State University and plans to begin work on his masters of accountancy in the fall of 2008.
