HLB Gross Collins, P.C. Admits Five to Partner Group; Promotes Two Team Members To Supervisors
Atlanta, June 11, 2008 - HLB Gross Collins, P.C., an Atlanta-based full-service certified public accounting and consulting firm, has admitted five team members to its partner group as Principals – Robert Ainsworth, CPA; Jake M. Bodenheimer, CPA; Michael Bohling, CPA; Wayne S. Gilmore, CPA and Sheryl A. Shepherd, CPA. The firm also promoted Jamie Jinks, CPA and Mark Chase, CPA to supervisor.
Ainsworth, who completed his Masters of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi, has worked in tax services in both private industry and public accounting. Before joining HLB Gross Collins in 2005, he managed the tax department of a publicly traded healthcare company.
Bodenheimer, who holds an MBA with a major in Finance from Georgia State University, has worked in both accounting and tax services. He works with individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries, including service, construction and manufacturing, as well as with clients who have international tax considerations.
Bohling, who began his career with the firm in 1995, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. He was previously the controller of a privately held business in Atlanta.
Gilmore, who joined HLB Gross Collins in 1998, works with a diverse range of clients specializing in closely held service, manufacturing, construction and real estate industries. An accounting honors graduate, he holds a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
Shepherd joined the firm in 1997, bringing six years of public accounting experience and three years experience as a controller for a technology company. A graduate of the State University of West Georgia, she holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in professional accountancy.
Jinks, who joined the firm as an audit specialist, provides audit, advisory, attestation and other assurance services to clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from Kennesaw State University.
Chase, who joined HLB Gross Collins in 2002, specializes in audit, accounting and management services for closely held businesses. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a finance minor and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Pensacola Christian College. He is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at Kennesaw State University.
