Sheryl A. Shepherd, CPA

Sheryl joined HLB Gross Collins in 1997, bringing six years of accounting industry experience to the firm. She had worked for three years in public accounting, and three years as a controller for a large, locally owned technology company. She currently serves as a tax manager in the tax department.

Sheryl graduated from the State University of West Georgia, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Professional Accountancy.

Specialized Services

Sheryl specializes in providing tax compliance and planning for a broad base of closely held businesses, including service industries, manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, and construction. She also provides tax services for some of the premier athletes and entertainers of Atlanta.

Sheryl is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Sports Council and Women in Sports and Events.
