Melissa W. Rabern, CPA
Melissa Rabern joined HLB Gross Collins, P.C. when she graduated from the University of Georgia in 1978. She believes that the key to adding value and helping clients become successful is understanding their entire business operation – not just the accounting and tax reporting requirements. Her top priority is always being accessible to clients.
Specialized Services
Melissa has expertise in consulting services including review and implementation of accounting department operations and systems; planning for business acquisitions; mergers or succession; new business start-ups; and budgeting and forecasting.
Her consulting projects include cost control analysis and structuring of compensation packages for key employees. She has a wealth of industry expertise in manufacturing, distribution, construction, and service. She also has a high concentration of large, independently owned medical practices, non-profit entities, foundations and distance education schools.
She is directly involved with structural tax planning for her client base. Special areas of tax concentration include planning for S- corporations and limited liability companies -- particularly before a start-up, acquisition, or sale transaction.

Melissa is a former treasurer and founding member of The Women's Finance Exchange, Inc.
